Horizon Zero Dawn PC Update Adds DLSS, AMD FSR, and Performance Improvements

There are also some menu changes

After the update, gamers get NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) support for better performance. Let me remind you that DLSS is only available on NVIDIA RTX series cards, while FSR can be enabled on almost all modern GPUs, regardless of manufacturer. With the implementation of FSR, the old FidelityFX Contrast Adaptive Sharpening option is also being removed.

Some performance improvements were also added with patch 1.11. These include improvements to the management system that will result in a few noticeable differences.

With the update, the loading screens will wait for the required shaders to be fully compiled. This may cause loading screens to take a little longer on some systems. However, on higher spec machines with faster CPUs, loading screens will often be shorter due to more efficient shader compilation that takes better advantage of higher end CPUs.
