Grid Legends Coming February 24

Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Codemasters announced that GRID Legends will be released on February 24, 2022 .
The new game is set to include the widest range of events and vehicle types in the series, with race trucks and electric cars joining supercars and other traditional cars you’re used to. In terms of events, you have Elimination, as you might expect, Electric Boost, which sees you driving electric cars and gaining speed throughout a race, and Multi-Class, which brings different cars together in one big race. There are up to 22 cars per race, so things can get pretty hectic.
This is especially true for AI drivers who have been given “personalities” so that they don’t always behave the same on asphalt. This, combined with an enemy-style system, means that races will feel more human; The AI will make mistakes, crash and react to your actions, potentially weaponizing for you if you keep bumping into them, for example.
The game is currently available for pre-orders, with Standard and Deluxe editions available. The deluxe edition includes four ‘giant’ content packs, the ‘Mechanic Pass’, Voklswagen Golf GTI and Audi R8 1:1 vehicles, and exclusive Challenges.
