It Takes Two tells the story of May and Cody, a married couple on the verge of separation. They tell their daughter Rose about their divorce, and she sheds magical tears that carry their souls to their two babies.
May and Cody awaken in their new bodies and agree to cooperate to find Rose. Our critic described it as “a wonderful, childlike co-op adventure”; While this may seem lighthearted at first, it eventually reveals a story with more emotional depth than expected.

Steam states that its sale will end on January 5th. It’s unclear if other retailers are following the same timeline. Still, it’s nice that those interested in Game of the Year can get such a critically acclaimed game at half price.
