Samsung Galaxy S21 FE May Have Been Canceled!

Last year, Samsung, one of the South Korean-based technology giants, launched the Galaxy S20 FE, a more affordable and high-performance model of its flagship smartphone family Galaxy S20, and received much acclaim, and in recent leaks to the internet, the company’s name is Galaxy S21 FE this year. We learned that he is planning to expand the FE family by driving another new device.

It’s quite rare for a big company like Samsung to cancel a new smartphone release a few days before the official launch event. According to a new report by South Korean streaming platform DDaily , the Galaxy S21 FE project may have been cancelled. The report shows that the South Korean tech giant has canceled the Galaxy S21 FE, which is a toned down version of the Galaxy S21.

According to the report, one of the reasons for abandoning the Galaxy S21 FE is that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 model was canceled due to better sales than expected and the ongoing global chip crisis. He also clarified the company’s decision to cancel its plans for the Galaxy S21 FE, taking into account the problems experienced in the supply chain.

Nothing official has been said by Samsung.

The report also shows that the cost of the Snapdragon 888 processor has increased, which directly affects the price of the smartphone. However, the South Korean giant tried to make up for the cost of the chipset (via SamMobile) by cutting the cost of the display and design. However, Samsung does not make any official statement about whether it has canceled the S21 FE or not.

Earlier rumors suggest that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage. It will support 4G LTE bands, 5G, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. It is also expected to have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display and a 32MP punch-hole selfie camera. It reportedly measures 155.7×74.5×7.9mm, with an in-display fingerprint reader and an IP68 rating.
