Samsung Galaxy F42 5G Introduced!

Samsung , one of the South Korean-based tech giants , has officially introduced its latest mid-range smartphone named Galaxy F42 5G in India . It’s identical to the Galaxy Wide5 recently launched in South Korea, and largely similar to the globally sold Galaxy A22. Compared to the Galaxy A22, the F42 brings a more capable main camera, new color options and a slightly modified design of the camera cluster.

The screen of the Galaxy F42 5G has a Full HD + resolution and a waterdrop notch for the 8MP selfie camera. The screen is 6.6 inches and has an LCD panel. On the back, there is a 64MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensing camera.

The phone is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset with an octa-core processor clocked up to 2.2GHz for its two powerful cores. The Galaxy F42 5G will be sold in India with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, offering the option to increase the storage up to 1TB via the micro SD slot.

Unfortunately, the Galaxy F42 5G doesn’t have the cool-looking Mint, Violet and White colors offered by the Galaxy A22 5G and will be available on Flipkart in two color options, Matte Aqua or Matte Black. Samsung is pricing the phone at Rupees 20,999 ($282/€242) and Rupees 22,999 ($310/€265), but as of October 2, those who pre-order the phone will offer a discount of Rupees 3,000 ($40/€35).

We do not have any information about whether the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G will be sold in our country and if it is sold, how much the price tag will be.
