Hong Kong-based technology giant OnePlus is said to launch a new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 9 RT , in Europe and India in October next month . Now, some leaks are starting to appear, which not only confirms the existence of the device, but also shows that the release date is not too far off.
The OnePlus 9 RT with model number MT2111 has recently surfaced on India’s BIS certification site, hinting that the launch event could take place in October as previous rumors suggested. Unfortunately, the certification site does not reveal anything about the specs of the upcoming OnePlus 9 RT smartphone.
What are the OnePlus 9 RT possible specs?
If we are to believe the previous rumors, the OnePlus 9 RT model will have almost the same basic specifications as its predecessor, the OnePlus 9R. It is expected to have the same 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, a 4500mAh battery with 65W charging support. However, the OnePlus 9 RT will not feature the OnePlus Snapdragon 870 or Snapdragon 888, but a “high-end version of the Snapdragon 870″ .
On the camera side, the OnePlus 9 RT will reportedly be slightly different from the 9R: unlike the 48 MP main camera found on the OnePlus 9R, it will feature the 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor found on the OnePlus Nord 2 model. Interestingly, the Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 operating system will run out of the box and will be the first OnePlus smartphone to feature Android 12.
