Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer Tecno introduced a new smartphone at a launch event in Nigeria today. Tecno Spark 8C is an affordable smartphone in an entry-level segment, with a large display and 64GB of storage.
Tecno Spark 8C , which has a 6.66-inch HD + LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, uses fingerprint reading technology on the biometric authentication side. The rectangular camera cluster on the back of the smartphone has a 13MP resolution main camera and a 2MP resolution depth sensor.
The fingerprint reader sensor is located on the camera island on the back of the smartphone, while on the front of the device there is an 8MP selfie camera. Tecno Spark 8C will offer 64GB Internal Storage, 2 and 3GB RAM options and also comes with a technology called Memory Fusion.
Memory Fusion lets you set up some of your storage as virtual expansion.
The smartphone has dimensions of 164.57 x 76 x 8.9 mm and is powered by a 5000 mAh battery inside. In addition to all these hardware, Tecno Spark 8C also offers NFC support; It will be available in four different color options: Turquoise, Black, Purple and Grey.
The company has not yet revealed the price tag of the smartphone and in which markets it will go on sale.
