We are nearing the end of 2021 and already the first week of January 2022 will be busier than expected. We know that Realme, vivo and Xiaomi will launch their new smartphones on January 4, 5 and 6 respectively. Now, Lenovo has announced that it will introduce a gaming-oriented smartphone on the first day of 2022 and will start the new year with a new model.
Lenovo’s next-generation smartphone for gamers is called Legion Y90, and although the company has not yet made a statement about the technical specifications, photos revealing a few features of the smartphone’s screen have been published. Lenovo Legion Y90 will have a 6.92 inch E4 AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone, which comes with HDR support, will come with a dual-engine air-cooled system.
Lenovo did not share details about this cooling system in question, but a company employee stated in a screenshot shared on Weibo that the Legion Y90 smartphone will offer gaming performance at 120FPS, remaining relatively cold even after 20-30 minutes of playing time.
