Sony Xperia 5 IV Details Revealed!

Japan-based technology manufacturer Sony introduced the Xperia 5 III in April 2021, and it will be a smartphone that is almost a year old. According to rumors that surfaced on Weibo today, the company is working on the Sony Xperia 5 IV and will be introduced soon.
The Sony Xperia 5 IV will feature a 6.1-inch diagonal screen, so the next-gen smartphone is expected to be roughly the same size as the current model. In addition, the smartphone will weigh just over 180g and both the back and front of the device will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus coating.
The camera cluster on the back of the smartphone will include the main camera with a 12MP resolution IMX557 sensor, which was previously used in the Xperia 1 II model. The size of the main camera is 1/1.7 inches, which means it will have 1.8 µm pixels, which is larger than any other phone on the market.
It will have a headphone jack!
On the telephoto camera side, a 12MP resolution IMX663 lens will be used, the 1/2.93-inch lens will offer 1.22 µm pixels and will have another dual focal length lens that can switch between 3x and 4.4x zoom. The ultra-wide-angle camera will use a 12MP resolution 1/2.55 inch IMX363 sensor with 1.4 µm pixels.
Sony Xperia 5 IV will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The leaker claims that the chipset is sourced from TSMC rather than Samsung (the chip may be marketed as SM8475, 8th Gen 1+) . This information is very important because Qualcomm has not yet officially announced the availability of a TSMC version of the 8th Gen processor, which means that the launch date may be delayed.
The smartphone will have a 3.5mm headphone jack, which we are not used to seeing for a long time. The battery capacity will increase compared to the previous model, but the details are not yet known. It is not yet known when the Sony Xperia 5 IV, which is expected to be released in the price range of 5,000 Chinese Yuan (CNY), will be introduced.
