Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer Realme has officially launched its new generation smartphone called GT2 Pro. The smartphone family, which will start sales in Europe from March 15, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and uses Samsung’s latest AMOLED display technology.
It was decided to reduce the carbon footprint with the GT2 family, which uses bio-based polymer material on the rear panel. According to Realme, 2 kg less carbon emissions are created for every kilogram made of this biopolymer when compared with purely petroleum-based materials.
What are the technical specifications of Realme GT2 Pro?
The packaging of smartphones is also made from recyclable materials, thus reducing the use of plastic from 21.7 percent to 0.3 percent.
Realme GT2 Pro offers 8GB and 12GB RAM options while it offers 128GB or 256GB storage with UFS 3.1 drives. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and uses an onboard 36,761 mm2 vapor cooling that can deliver a 3-degree cooling when this chipset is under high usage.
Realme GT2 Pro comes with a 50MP resolution main camera with f/1.8 aperture with Sony IMX766 sensor with versatile PDAF and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) technologies. The camera cluster on the back also includes the world’s first common 150-degree ultra-wide-angle camera with 50MP resolution and a 3MP resolution micro camera with 40x zoom.
The 6.7-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED LTPO 2.0 panel with a resolution of 1440×3216 pixels is used on the smartphone’s 1-bit HDR10+ screen, which supports up to 1.07b colors and offers peak brightness up to 1400 nits.
Thanks to LTPO 2.0 technology, Realme GT2 Pro can be dynamically adjusted from 1 Hz to 120 Hz. This screen is the same screen used on the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
How much are the Realme GT2 Pro prices?
The variant of Realme GT 2 Pro with 8GB RAM / 128GB Storage has a price tag of 649 Euros, while the variant with 12GB RAM / 256GB storage has a price tag of 749 Euros. We do not yet know whether the smartphones will be available for sale in our country.
