Lenovo Announces New Gaming Monster Legion Y90!

Lenovo introduced the Legion Y90 , a new generation gaming-oriented smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, at its event today . The smartphone, which comes with 12GB/16GB and 18GB RAM options, comes with 256GB and 640GB storage options.

In the top storage configuration, 512GB is UFS and 128GB is regular SSD technology. The smartphone, which uses the ZUI 13 user interface on the software side, runs the Android 12 operating system.


The smartphone, which comes with a 1080×2460 pixel resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+ support, (deltaE < 0.6) color gamut Samsung E4 AMOLED display, offers a peak brightness of 1300 nits. It has 144Hz refresh, 720Hz touch sampling rate and offers 3.4ms latency.

On the side bezels of the smartphone, there are L1, L2, R1 and R2 gaming-oriented keys, while there are two pressure-sensitive virtual keys L3 and R3 on the screen. Equipped with dual Z-axis linear motors and stereo speakers for an immersive gaming experience, the game monster has Dolboy Atmos sound technology.

On the connection technologies side, there is support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6 (AX, 2×2 MIMO) and there is no 3.5mm jack input. Lenovo Legion Y90 is up for pre-order in China and regular sales will begin on March 10. The 12GB RAM/256GB storage model has a price tag of CNY 4,300 ($680/€610), but has been reduced to CNY 4,000 for pre-orders. The model with 16GB/256GB storage costs CNY 4,600 and the model with 16GB RAM / 640GB storage costs CNY 5,300.
