Samsung , one of the smartphone manufacturers based in South Korea , has officially introduced the first durable smartphone model Galaxy XCover6 Pro with 5G connection support. While the smartphone brings most of the features we expect from a smartphone in 2022, let’s take a look at what these features are together.
First of all, the smartphone comes with a 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen protected by Corning Gorilla Victus+ with Full HD+ resolution at 120Hz refresh rate. Thanks to its increased touch sensitivity, the XCover6 Pro’s screen allows you to easily control your phone while your hand is wet or wearing gloves.
The smartphone, which is assertive about durability, has both IP68 water and dust resistance certification and MIL-810H certification. With dimensions of 168.8×79.9×9.9mm, the XCover6 Pro weighs only 235 grams . Supporting both 5G and Wi-Fi 6E technologies on the port side, the device comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be upgraded thanks to microSD card support, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset.
Removable battery!
The smart phone, whose back cover can be opened and you can change the battery whenever you want, provides the energy needed by the hardware inside the battery with a capacity of 4050 mAh and supports a charging speed of up to 15W. It supports proprietary accessories thanks to the two pogo pins on the bottom frame.
The smartphone comes out of the box without a charging adapter and you need to buy a Type-C charger to charge the phone. One of the best things about the XCover6 Pro is that it has a programmable push-to-talk button.
As for the camera side, there is a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture on the back and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture accompanying this main camera. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie camera housed in a waterdrop notch.
The smartphone runs Android 12 operating system with OneUI user interface on the software side. XCover6 Pro interesting features include speaker boost mode, headphone jack and Samsung DeX support.
