WhatsApp , one of the online messaging application giants owned by Meta , has been developing and testing the ability to leave a reaction to messages for a while. Having completed the work, the company is now slowly opening the feature to all users.
The feature actually works quite simply; Just like in Facebook posts, when you press and hold a message for a long time, some emojis will appear in front of you and youwill be able to choose the emojis on the screen and leave them in the message bubble.
In the post made by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg about the feature in question, it was said that six emojis are currently available, but WhatsApp stated that they will add support for more emojis and skin tones in the near future.
The message reactions feature is currently available to some user groups using the latest version of WhatsApp, but don’t worry, the company says it will finish rolling out globally in the coming weeks.
