You can now apply for a job from TikTok!

Recently popular social media TikTok is testing a job application tool that allows its users to apply directly to companies like Chipotle, Target and Shopify with their video resume.
The short-term pilot program called TikTok Resumes stems from the content culture that has emerged organically on the platform like #CareerTok and the company’s initiatives to impress college students and young users. More than 30 companies have signed up to accept resumes for the pilot program, which will run until 31 July.
Users will need to create a video resume, submit it to TikTok, and then send that video to recruiters via the app. An instructional video for the pilot program recommends that applicants do not include personal contact information, such as email addresses, in the publicly shared video.
Some of the jobs currently listed include creating content for TikTok; this means more brands are adopting the platform with already savvy content developers. Other brands are looking for hosts and video creators to span multiple platforms, like a Detroit Pistons list of video producers or an in-camera presenter list for Allrecipes.
Companies like Target, Chipotle, Sweetgreen, and Great Clips also use the platform to find entry and mid-level employees to work in stores and warehouses, with some full-time and corporate roles interspersed with them. Shopify wants to recruit a veteran through the pilot.
