Spotify Announces A New Affordable Subscription Package

Spotify is working on a new, cheaper paid plan called Spotify Plus, which allows subscribers to skip unlimited songs and listen to specific songs in an album.
Spotify, one of the online music streaming platform giants, has announced a new and cheaper subscription plan called Spotify Plus , which allows users to skip unlimited songs and listen to the songs they want in an album with one click without hindrance . The plan will only cost $0.99 United States, but users who still have this package will still be able to listen to ads.
Currently, the free ad-supported plan on the platform only allows users to skip 6 songs per day and listen to albums only in shuffle. Without these limitations, the paid Premium plan costs $9.99 per month.
The company said in a statement:
“We are always working to improve the Spotify experience and routinely run tests to inform our decisions. We are currently testing an ad-supported subscription plan with a limited number of users.”
As you can tell from the company’s statement, unfortunately, the $1 subscription plan is currently only in the piloting phase with pilot users, so it is not known whether it will spread to a wider area.
