Send Money Feature to WhatsApp Has Arrived!

In the past months, we have mentioned that WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow users to send money to the platform, and the company under the auspices of Facebook launched this feature in the India region in the first place. The feature, which currently only works in India, is planned to come to all countries soon.

After receiving “continue” approval from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), Facebook today announced that people from all over India will be able to send money via WhatsApp.

You must have a bank account and debit card in India to use this feature. When you pay someone, WhatsApp sends instructions to banks to initiate the transfer of funds between the sender and recipient bank accounts via UPI.

People can send money via WhatsApp to anyone using a UPI-supported app. WhatsApp Payments feature is now available in the latest version of iPhone and Android app.
