“Self-Destructing Image” Feature Coming to WhatsApp

Popular online messaging app WhatsApp , owned by social media giant Facebook , added the self-destruct messaging feature to its mobile apps last year, but now, the Facebook-owned company is using the self-destructing messaging program to self-destruct, according to WhatsApp feature tracker WABetainfo . Trying to add image property.
Working similarly to self-destructing message features, self-destruct images disappear for both parties after a predefined time. Also, these messages cannot be exported from WhatsApp. As you can see in the images below, when the feature is available, you’ll see a toggle right next to the text box and when you tap the toggle, “This media will disappear, you leave this chat.”
While privacy enthusiasts will appreciate the feature, an excellent feature will require the Facebook-owned company to make some additional changes to the feature. For example, it should give users the option to prevent recipients from taking screenshots of self-destructing images. And as XDA-Developers points out, “…the half-baked app will make the feature completely useless.”
Since the self-destructing image feature is currently in development, unfortunately not everyone on the end-user side can see it, so we’ll have to wait for a while before it’s generally available. We also expect this feature to be available for WhatsApp Android and iOS apps first, followed by the company making it available to desktop clients as well.
