Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport 425 HP Track Car!

Porsche has unveiled the 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport , which replaces the previous Cayman GT4 Clubsport introduced three years ago . The vehicle has a full 425 HP, or 425 horsepower, and the statement said it focused on faster lap times and “improved driving capability” in the new Cayman GT4. Instead of one of the regular 718 Cayman’s turbocharged four-cylinder engines, the GT4 Clubsport is tuned for 425 horsepower with 7,500 rpm and 313 torque, and has a displacement of 3.8 liters.

GT4 Clubsport is available in two forms. The Trackday version is for amateur racers looking for a powerful machine to take to their local circuit. More serious folks can get the Competition variant, which complies with various national and international class rules. It also features a front suspension arrangement from the 911 GT3 Cup racing model, 18-inch wheels with
Michelin slick tires, and giant racing-spec brakes with 14.96-inch steel discs. Porsche will sell the 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport in two different versions. The “Trackday” model is for the serious track day enthusiast or amateur racer.
Starting at 134,000 euros (approximately $157,000) it features fixed dampers and adjustable anti-roll bars, a hand-held fire extinguisher, ABS and fully deactivated stability controls, and a 21.1-gallon FIA certified fuel tank.
Porsche has sold 421 units of the old Cayman GT4 Clubsport and says the new version hopes to sell even more. The automaker is taking orders now, with the first race cars to be delivered in February.
