Speaking at South by Southwest, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg officially announced that NFT support will come to Instagram soon. As reported by Engadget , Mark Zuckerberg officially confirmed at SXSW that blockchain technology-enabled collections will be coming to Instagram in the near future, but it’s not clear exactly what the company has planned with the technology.
In his speech, Zuckerberg said: “I’m not ready to explain exactly what will happen today, in the next few months the ability to upload some NFTs you have to Instagram will come.” said.
Most likely with the next update they will allow you to make your NFTs your profile picture in a custom view – just like Twitter –
