Instagram Subscription Coming!

Facebook, one of the social media giants, launched the Subscription system in June 2020 to help content creators make money with the support of communities, and now this business model is also coming to the Instagram platform with the company’s new announcement.
With Instagram Subscriptions, the company aims to help creators on the platform “make deeper connections with their most engaged followers and increase their recurring monthly revenue by providing access to subscriber-exclusive content and benefits.” After subscribing to a creator you follow on Instagram, you will be able to benefit from a variety of exclusive content, especially “Subscriber Stories”, “Subscriber Badges” and “Subscriber Broadcasts”.
You can get the details from the video prepared by Adam Mosseri, who is responsible for the management of Instagram, about Instagram subscriptions:
It will be accessible to the users determined in the first place.
Instagram Subscriptions primarily limited edition content in the United States, including @alanchikinchow, @sedona._, @alizakelly, @kelseylynncook, @elliottnorris, @jordanchiles, @jackjerry, @bunnymichael, @donalleniii, and @lonnieiiv It will be made available to creators, but the company says they plan to expand the feature to more creators over the next few months.
No commission will be taken until 2023!
The subscriptions feature will be happening with a “Subscribe” button on creators’ Instagram profiles. Content Creators will launch at self-determined monthly pricing (just like the YouTube Join feature). The company stated the platform’s commitment to supporting content creators, saying it will not take commissions from creators until 2023.
It’s not yet clear when Instagram Subscriptions will be made available globally, but if testing in the United States goes smoothly, we expect the feature to become widely available in a few months.
