There were already rumors that Instagram Stories would come with a like feature recently, and the company has launched this feature as of today.
You will now be able to like Instagram Stories that are shared and appear for 24 hours, just like you like posts, videos, Reels videos. When you like a story, there will be a notification in the Notifications box of the person whose story you liked, and when the person looks at the viewers of the story, a heart icon appears next to your profile picture.
