What is the Number of Vehicles Per Capita in Countries in the World?

We present you this statistical news that we have created for automotive lovers. You can find the number of registered vehicles in Turkey and the world in this article. We also conveyed the changes experienced in Turkey compared to previous years.

Yes, today I will share with you the ‘number of vehicles per capita ‘ of citizens living both in our country and in other countries of the world . First of all, the idea of writing this article came to me while surfing the Internet. As a result of my research, I decided to share the data announced by the countries with you. Since the summer of 2018, there have been many variable economic and sociological situations in our beautiful country. Especially in the economy, there have been situations that we have faced recently, with many countries taking their own money to their countries or the bankruptcy of some European countries.

When we look at Turkey, global developments in the last 2 years have had a detrimental effect. Decrease in money and credit stocks in the world In the economies of countries such as Turkey that have a constant foreign exchange deficit, there have been situations such as contraction, unemployment, inflation, and rising exchange rates. Turkey is also on the list. The number of motor land vehicles per capita in Turkey has doubled in the last 15 years . While there were 13.5 vehicles per 100 people in 2003, this rate increased to 27.9 in 2018.

The total number of motor land vehicles (cars, minibuses, buses, pickup trucks, trucks, motorcycles, special purpose and tractors) in Turkey , which was 8 million 655 thousand in 2002 , increased to 22 million 865 thousand at the end of 2018. In the same period , the number of automobiles, which was 4 million 600 thousand, increased to 12 million 398 thousand. Again in the same period, the population of Turkey, which was 65 million 413 thousand, increased to 82 million 3 thousand.

There are 51 cars per 100 people in the EU and 14 cars in Turkey.

Looking at the number of vehicles per capita in Europe, Turkey ranks last. While there were 50.5 cars per 100 people in the European Union (EU) countries in 2016, 14.2 cars per 100 people in Turkey in the same year.

We have now defined the subject without further ado. If we bring the subject to the automotive industry, in this situation, which we see the effects of in the world and in our country, we have seen unbelievably increased prices of 50%, 60% in both 0 km vehicles and the 2-hand market in the last 2 years . I have gathered the data of the number of vehicles per  capita in other countries of the world and the number of vehicles per capita for both countries that produce domestically and countries that use imported vehicles to a certain extent .

These figures are a list of countries by number of road motor vehicles per 1000 inhabitants. This includes cars, vans, buses, freight and other trucks; but excludes motorcycles and other two-wheeled vehicles.

I have given you the figures in detail, my comment as an editor. We see that the number of registered vehicles in Turkey is 12 million, and this number needs to be increased somehow. Otherwise, it is certain that we will experience great manipulations in both 0 km and 2nd hand vehicle markets. For example, if we have 17-18 million registered vehicles with an excessive increase, I am sure that there will be an excess of demand, and at least the prices will become more affordable in the second-hand vehicle market.
