Tesla , one of the leading brands in electric and autonomous cars , has been a little slow in updating the interior design of the Tesla Model S, especially after introducing new interior looks for Model Y and Model 3 cars. But Tesla has made public in its earnings report today a series of images showing the new look for the premium sedan model.
When we look at the photos, the most striking features are the larger center console screen and steering wheel cuff, which replaces the ordinary leather circle. With this design, Tesla has now added a screen for passengers sitting in the back seat.
The new design will also come for the Tesla Model X. Production of both the Tesla Model S and Model X is currently closed, and the new vehicles will likely include new interiors and other improvements when Tesla resumes production in the second quarter. The new skin can already be ordered via Tesla’s website.
