Tesla Introduces Model S Plaid Car

Tesla , one of the electric car manufacturer giants , hosted an event last night at the test track in the Fremont region of California, where it delivered the first Tesla Model S Plaid electric vehicle group to its relevant buyers. The Plaid is the latest iteration of Tesla’s premium Model S sedan. It has a three-engine design that goes beyond the company’s “Ludicrous” version in almost every way.

The all-wheel drive sedan has an EPA-estimated range of 390 miles, with a peak power output of 1,020 horsepower. You get instant torque factor from an electric powertrain and 0-60 mph in 1.99 seconds, quarter mile in 9.23 seconds and top speed up to 200 mph.

Elon Musk, who took the stage at the event, emphasized Plaid’s new battery pack technology, Tesla’s carbon arm rotors designed for propulsion motors and the vehicle’s improved cooling system. The ability to recharge for a period of 15 minutes at a Supercharger station that can provide a range of 187 miles has also been improved.

Tesla’s Model S Plaid starts at $129,990 and you can order the vehicle on Tesla’s website.
