All-Electric Ferrari To Be Introduced In 2025!

The SF90 Stradale and SF90 Spider models are already a two-gas electric hybrid Ferrari, and are no strangers to electric powertrains. But that’s just the beginning, as the Italian automaker plans to unveil its first fully electric Ferrari vehicle in the not-too-distant future.

At the company’s annual general meeting this week, Ferrari Chairman and acting CEO John Elkann said they are excited to introduce the first all-electric Ferrari in 2025.

In a separate report, Ferrari said that while it does not intend to develop self-driving cars, it will adopt certain aspects of autonomous driving technology in response to regulatory developments and customer preferences. In 2018, for example, they laid the foundation for advanced driver assistance systems, including predictive braking and automatic cruise control. It was said that more innovations will be added to future models.

John Elkann took over as CEO on an interim basis following the departure of Louis Camilleri in December 2020. There are currently two different scenarios; Either Elkann will remain in his role for the long term or the next permanent CEO will share his vision of an all-electric Ferrari. Otherwise, the all-electric Ferrari concept could be thrown into the background.
