Sony and Honda Established Collaboration to Produce Electric Cars!

Japan-based consumer electronics manufacturer Sony and automaker Honda have officially announced that they are collaborating to form a new company together to produce electric cars. The giants that signed the Memorandum of Understanding will establish a new company this year, complete their first automobile in three years and launch them in 2025.
According to the agreement, both parties will demonstrate their strengths in the fields in which they are professionals; Sony will supply the mobility service platform, while Honda will supply the manufacturing facilities. This joint venture will be responsible for the planning, development, design and sales of electric vehicles.
Sony had already announced its entry into the electric car (EV) industry by introducing a concept device called the Vision-S at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2020. In January of this year, he introduced the Vision-S 02 model and stated that he would establish Sony Mobility Inc in the spring of 2022 to produce electric vehicles, and now Honda will be included in these plans.
