Apple Extends Self-Service Program to MacBook Pro and Air Models!

Apple , one of the software and technology giants based in the United States , officially announced that it has expanded the Self Service Repair program to MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models in an announcement made today.
Starting tomorrow, users of MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models with the M1 chipset will be able to take advantage of the Self-Service Repair Program. According to the company statement, more than a dozen different types of repairs will be offered for each model, including the display, battery-powered top case and trackpad, and this program will expand further in the future.
The US company launched a “Self-Service Repair Program” for iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 earlier this year. Expanding for Mac, this program will work just like the program on the iPhone front, and customers will have to read the repair manual before visiting the Self-service Repair Shop.
You no longer have to purchase tool kits in the Self-Service Program
Apple will also be offering rental kits for $49 for customers who want to purchase tools for a single repair and will ship with free shipping, while customers who take advantage of the rental kits will have access to the kits for one week. Customers who benefit from this program can send refurbished parts to Apple for recycling and receive credits in return.
